This architecturally designed, contemporary family home shows a wonderful use of spaces and forms, conveying a modern influence with an exquisite interplay of textures, light and simplicity - both internally and externally.
The key elements were to create a highly functional and practical kitchen/interior for our clients that expelled elegance and sophistication, using the latest technology and utilising every possible storage solution.
Our brief was to cater for a large family of six whom often like to entertain. It was imperative to introduce complementary materials such as the large format Italian porcelain tiles, to give strength and presence and a continuity with the Italian patterned tiles in the hallway. The seamless recessed lighting over the Island worktops create a subtle ambience along with the pendant lights in the dining and living.
The combination and properties of the Armour “Nero” stainless steel bench top on the Islands and hob all evoke a sense of practicality, style and striking simplicity.
The flow between kitchen, dining and the two living areas either side of the kitchen creates a canvas to add texture, colour and personality. This was imperative to our client’s decision along with our bespoke steel range hood that is also carried through in the fireplace joinery. All evoking a sense style and simplicity within this stunning home.
